How Tampa General Hospital Safely Deployed M365 Copilot with Varonis
The security team at Tampa General Hospital knew they needed more insight into their organization's Microsoft 365 permissions before they could enable generative AI tools like Copilot.
With Varonis, they classified over 43,000 files in just seven days, allowing them to deploy Copilot safely in their organization.
"Varonis allowed us to actually deploy AI. Without it, I don't think I would have been able to safely greenlight and recommend that we could use Copilot," said CISO Jim Bowie. "The only reason I'm prepared and feel safe in recommending our AI products through AI Governance Committee is because we have Varonis."

PGP has existed since 1991 - as an open means of having a public private keypair to which you can easily encrypt, and sign documents in a way that the reciever is the only one who can open said document, and can validate the sender. This is the kind of technology needed to do validation. We can also do Signature signing with Hashing data that can give a very clear indiciation that a video has or has not been tampered with, and get a clear indication of who signed it. We don't need to Invent the technology: We need companies to stop treating IT as a jock, stop treating Digital Security as a Joke, And start implementing this. The only reason this is not common practice - up to and including phone calls to validate the actual sender - is it has an upfront cost to implement, and inconveniences CEO's who are too stuck up to understand the long term implications and the huge cost in the long term to avoiding such. Even more idiotic is, with modern hardware + personal security keys this can largely be automated on the back end. We don't need it invented: We need it implemented.

Great points here! We're definitely working to help companies implement data security quickly and automatically, especially as AI continues to emerge and innovate.

Internet and security is changing under your noses. In a world plagued by cyber threats and data breaches, the marriage of Bitcoin and AI technologies offers a beacon of hope for today's centralized and insecure websites. Meet "SecureNet," a groundbreaking platform that revolutionizes website security and data protection through innovative use of Bitcoin and AI. As the story unfolds, we find ourselves in a digital landscape rife with vulnerabilities and risks. Traditional websites, reliant on centralized servers and outdated security protocols, are easy prey for hackers seeking to exploit weaknesses and steal sensitive user data. But all that is about to change with the advent of SecureNet. At the heart of SecureNet's revolutionary approach is its decentralized architecture, powered by Bitcoin's blockchain technology. Unlike traditional servers vulnerable to single points of failure, SecureNet distributes website data across a network of nodes, ensuring redundancy, resilience, and immutability. Each transaction on SecureNet's blockchain is cryptographically secured, making it virtually impossible for hackers to alter or tamper with sensitive information. But the true magic of SecureNet lies in its AI-driven security measures, which continuously monitor and adapt to evolving threats in real-time. Using advanced machine learning algorithms, SecureNet's AI analyzes patterns, anomalies, and user behaviors to identify potential security risks before they escalate. Whether it's detecting suspicious login attempts, thwarting DDoS attacks, or flagging unauthorized access attempts, SecureNet's AI acts as an ever-vigilant guardian, protecting websites and their users from harm. Moreover, SecureNet leverages Bitcoin's blockchain to implement robust authentication and access control mechanisms. Through secure multi-signature transactions, users can securely authenticate their identities and access sensitive data without relying on vulnerable passwords or centralized authentication servers. This decentralized approach not only enhances security but also preserves user privacy and autonomy. As SecureNet gains traction, traditional websites flock to adopt its innovative security solutions, eager to fortify their defenses against cyber threats and regain user trust. With SecureNet's Bitcoin and AI technologies at their disposal, websites can rest assured knowing that their data and their users' data are protected by the strongest security measures available. In this new era of website security, powered by Bitcoin and AI, the days of centralized and insecure websites are numbered. SecureNet paves the way for a safer, more resilient digital future, where users can browse, transact, and interact online with confidence and peace of mind. Welcome to the dawn of a new era in website security-welcome to SecureNet.
